Latest Roles

Our client, an international private group with operations in 120 countries, is looking for someone highly experienced to fulfil a six month contract, which could be extended. This will be a standalone Company Secretary role reporting to the General Counsel. This is a role for someone to investigate, pull together and standardise the company secretarial matters for what is a particularly complex structure, with offshore trusts and companies set up worldwide. Historically the work has been outsourced, but it is time for all to be co-ordinated and brought together in-house and standardised. The broad purpose of the job is to be;

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining good governance policies and processes. This includes ensuring that the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Accountable for identifying where opportunities exist for improvement, and implement resultant measures, in partnership with the wider legal team and the business.

The role would suit someone experienced at working across multiple jurisdictions and who is comfortable dealing with finance, tax and legal advisers – so there is a need to be able to interact with a wide range of people/disciplines to pull all the information together, and map out a way forward. Once everything is in order, they will consider at what level to resource the role permanently.
