This LSE listed multinational insurance group is now seeking to appoint an Assistant Company Secretary on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Deputy Company Secretary, the key task of this role will be to provide Board and Committee support to the Group Company Secretary and Deputy Company Secretary. This will be in the form of maintaining Board and Committee agenda plans, coordinating the production of meeting packs on the meeting portal, managing the action logs on a timely basis and also taking live minutes for certain meetings. 

The role won't solely focus on the Board and Committee support elements though, you can expect to be involved in the statutory compliance elements as well as providing support to the group share plans work and other work streams that flow through the Secretariat team. The team do work in a very collaborative manner, providing support to one another during particularly busy times. A good team fit for this role would be someone who can adopt the organisations culture of professionalism, integrity and effectiveness, whilst being able to self manage their own workload and when required, respond quickly to queries from the business.

This role will suit a Chartered Secretary (or someone still qualifying) who has experience of interacting at Executive level, someone who has very strong Board and Committee support experience who wants to join a stable and professional Secretariat, one which will allow them to build up their experience in other key areas. A very competitive package is being offered which includes covering all travel costs to the office on those days that you are in. The company do run a hybrid working policy.
