The successful candidate will assist the head of the department.

A full job description is available on request, the role is varied in nature and the responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assisting with drafting precedents and other documents
  • Other ad hoc duties in line with the role

The successful candidate is likely to have extensive experience working in a company secretarial department within a practice environment.  Experience of managing people is desirable, but not a requirement.  You should demonstrate the following qualities:

This role will be offered on a hybrid basis, the firm has no set requirements, they tend to leave it to each team to decide what works best for that team. Currently the Secretariat team does three days a week in the office, with Wednesdays as their “anchor” day, the other days to suit individuals, but they try to make sure a minimum of 2 people are in each day, so no one comes into the office to find no other colleagues onsite!
