Our client is a fast-growing support services group, now seeking a CGI qualified Deputy Secretary to join their team.

 

The Deputy will play a pivotal role in supporting the Board and Executive Team to ensure their processes reflect best practice and high standards of corporate governance, compliance, and transparency, while helping to shape the organisation’s readiness for increased regulatory and stakeholder demands.



Acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert guidance on governance frameworks, statutory obligations, and effective decision-making, the role holder will ensure that governance evolves in line with the Group’s growth and ambition. A full job description is available on request.

 

The successful candidate is likely to have the following skills, experience and attributes;


  • Qualified Chartered Secretary (CGI) or qualified solicitor with substantial governance experience.
  • Experience working in a professional services firm or in-house Company Secretarial department
  • Experience of Company Secretarial databases, systems and platforms
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
  • Strong data and reporting skills
  • Solid IT skills including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
